{T H A L A S S A}
A furry frame came out of the shadows of the trees. The frame belonged to a Rough Collie by the name of Thalassa. She wasn't a stranger to these lands since she had been roaming them for about a year now, but these lands were different because they were pack lands. For awhile now the young canine had wanted to claim a pack, but there were only two light packs here in Crescent Moon. They were Zakraki and Akira. It was too late to claim Zakraki because of fae by the name of Orchid had already claimed the lands as her own. Now only Akira was left, and Thalassa was here to find out whether these lands were still deserted or if they were free to claim. So far she had not smelled any trace of any other canine scent in the area, which was a good sign, but if a canine had claimed it, they might have not marked their territory yet and could be farther into the pack lands. So she would have to keep on going further into the lands until she was able to determine that these lands were up for grabs. She hoped that they were because she had a reason to claim these lands as her own. She had made so many plans for this pack after she found out that Zakraki wasn't up for grabs anymore. She didn't keep her hopes up though because she didn't want her spirits to be crushed if these lands had been claimed already.
The white areas on this Collie were the only visible areas on her body. The sky was dark, but the moon was full, giving off a bright light in the sky. Thalassa was able to see just fine in the dark though. Her brown orbs adjusted somewhat easily to the dark. The tricolored Collie arrived in what appeared to be a small forest. The moon's light wasn't strong enough to get past the trees canopies so it was almost completely pitch black, but she now depended on her sense of smell to guide her through the dark forest since her eyes were still trying to adjust to the change in light., but should be fine in just a bit. She sniffed the air, rising her muzzle up to the sky. Still no trace of another canine was present, so maybe these lands were up for grabs. Thalassa continued on though just to make sure that these lands were unclaimed. She kept her speed to a two-beated pace because she didn't want to rush herself and wanted to conserve her energy. After awhile of walking, and now seeing light in the near distance, the canine sniffed the air again. This time a scent was present, but it was a scent of a different pack. This scent was known by her, but she couldn't quite put her paw on which pack it was. Then it came to her, it was Kakraki's scent. She was nearing the borderline for the Akira and Kakraki packs. She had been through all of Akira's lands and no other scents were present. These lands haven't been claimed yet after all.
These lands were unclaimed, but they would now be hers. She had longed to claim these lands after having to give up on Kakraki, but she had always liked Akira better. Now she could be proud enough to say that these lands were hers and only hers. She had to make it clear though that she was claiming these lands. She let out a loud,long, bark that was filled with pride. She was now the alphaess of this pack. Soon she would be accepting member, making this pack grow in number. She couldn't wait to start accepting members and start giving out orders to its members."I,Thalassa, claim this pack called Akira. These lands are finally mine," she said aloud with great pride.
